Account Deletion
How to request deletion of your DispatchOS account and what to expect.
Effective July 17, 2026
You don't need to be signed in to read this page. To actually request deletion, sign in and go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
Manager / Business owner
A manager (business owner) can request deletion of an entire DispatchOS business account from Settings → Account → Delete Account. The request:
- Requires strong confirmation, including typing the exact business name.
- Recommends you export your data first — once deletion completes, export is no longer possible from the account.
- Sets a 30-day grace period during which the deletion can be canceled by signing in and confirming the cancellation.
- Blocks new operational writes while the deletion is pending, except: data export, deletion cancellation, support requests, and sign-out.
- Does not destroy data immediately. At our current manual-launch scale, the actual deletion enters a Super Admin queue and is performed manually after the grace period expires.
Lead / Team member
A lead (invited field-team member) can request removal of their lead account only. The Business they were invited to is not deleted. The request:
- Asks DispatchOS to unlink the lead's User account from the Business's Employee record.
- Is queued for review by the Business manager or platform admin (manual at our current launch scale).
- Preserves historical job attribution (such as past job notes, completion records) under retention rules. Other leads are not exposed.
- Does not give the lead access to other businesses' data.
30-day grace period
Once a manager deletion request is approved, we wait 30 days before final action. During those 30 days you can sign in again and cancel the request — your account returns to its prior eligible status and normal operations resume. After the 30-day window, your data enters the deletion queue and is removed by our admin team.
Export your data first
Before requesting deletion, go to Settings → Account → Export Data and download your information. Once the grace period ends and final deletion runs, the only copy of your data will be the local download you make now.
What is deleted
- Business profile, settings, and logo.
- Clients, addresses, preferences, and property-access details.
- Employees (leads) and their invitations.
- Jobs, schedules, notes, before/after photos, and signatures.
- Quotes and invoices (and their line items).
- Linked Google Calendar connection.
- Support-request records associated with the business.
Records we may keep
A handful of minimal records may be retained after deletion for legal, security, and accounting purposes, including a short audit trail of the deletion action and any required billing records. We do not retain client personal data beyond what is legally necessary.
